Previous Button - storyline

Hi,

i have a (small) problem with the previous buttons. As they seem to go as default to the page the user visited before. I would want this to be the other way around (default would be always the slide before) is it possible to set this easily or do i need to go through all the slides and select in the triggers the previous slide number?

Thank you for reaching out!

The Jump to Previous/Next slide trigger in Storyline is related to the previously viewed slide (similar to a browser back button), not necessarily the slides' sequence.

While you can't set this automatically for every slide, the best way to ensure the navigation you need is to manually point to the specific slide number you want the user to go to.

I wish I could tell you there's an easy way to change the default. But I can't.

If you always want the Previous button to go to the slide that appears directly before the current slide as per their numbered order in Storyline, you'll have to manually adjust the trigger for the Previous button on every slide.
