Apologies, I'm not fully understanding what you're describing. Are you saying that you aren't able to change the volume of your course once it's published? In the Player Properties, you can select to show the volume control in the player which your users can click on to adjust the volume to their needs. Check out the Choosing Player Controls section of that Player Properties tutorial I linked above for further reference.
Hi Ali. Yes i have selected to display the button, you can actually visualize the button, in the export. But the problem is raise or lower the volume, since this action is not performed, leaving the fixed control.
Thanks for the additional info Tiara, my next question would be how are you viewing the published output?
If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, make sure to upload it to the environment for which it was published. For instance, if you were to Publish for Web you'll want to upload the published output to a web environment to properly test it.
If you're uploading your published course to it's intended environment and still seeing this issue, would you mind sharing your .story file here so we can take a closer look? You can add it as an attachment right to a comment in this thread.
Hi Tiara, thanks for that. Would you mind sending the .story project file as well so that I can do some testing? Also, what environment are you publishing for and where are you viewing it from?
I did some testing and I'm not able to reproduce the issue you're seeing. I published your course for the web then uploaded it to tempshare to test it in a web environment. The volume button seems to be working as expected. You can view your published course here. Please note that is a temporary link and will only be accessible for 10 days. Let me know if you're still seeing the issue on your end.
What environment have you been publishing for and how are you testing it once published? You'll want to make sure to test it in the environment you're publishing for. For instance, if you Publish for LMS you'll need to upload it to an LMS environment to view it properly. We recommend using SCORM Cloud to test if published for LMS as it's the industry standard and offers a free account. If you launch it directly from your local drive, you may find that it does not behave as expected.
Hi Tiara- I uploaded the LMS published output you provided to SCORM Cloud to view it properly and I'm still not able to see the issue you're experiencing. Take a look at it here and let me know if you see the issue.
Thanks for the info, Tiara. As I mentioned previously, if you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, make sure to upload it to the environment for which it was published. This is probably why you are experiencing this issue.
Tiara- I see what you're saying. The problem lies in how you're accessing the course. Since it's published for LMS, it will not run properly when opening it right from your desktop and you'll see issues like the one you're having with the volume. You must upload it to an LMS environment in order for it to work properly.
If you want to be able to access the course directly from your computer without having to upload it anywhere, you'll need to use the Publish for CD option then double click the Launch_Story.exe to view the course. Hope that helps! :)

It's not upload the file , just opening the " story_html5 " file , you'll see the problem.

And not only this file is all truth.
