PROBLEM WITH LIGHTBOXES
Jan 08, 2018
Hi,
I use lightboxes to provide additional information to my main content sides - I have now noticed that there is an issue with them closing. If I only add ONE lightbox the slide closes OK, however, if I add MORE than one then the little X icon in the right hand corner no longer functions and I have to close the entire module. This happens in LMS and Articulate Review published modules.
Please help.

Thanks so much for bringing this up, Beata. We're seeing the same thing in Storyline 360, and we've reported it to our team. Is that the same version of Storyline you're using?
I'll tag this thread to be updated as soon as a fix is released!
Hi Alyssa,
Just to confirm - Storyline 360 is what I'm using.
kind regards,
Thanks for confirming that, Beata. I'll let you know as soon as the fix for this bug is released!
Hi Alyssa,
Can you pls let me know how long do these fixes take.
It is a major issue for us as we are trying to launch a new learning course. Thank you.
Hi Beata,
We're careful about testing new updates to make sure we don't put other features at risk, and I don't want to commit to a date before we have a fix finalized. In case you're interested, here's some more information on our process for tackling bugs. You're in the right place, and we’ll share as much as we can, as soon as we can!
Hi Alyssa,
There has been an update to Storyline last week - is it 'the fix'?
Rgds, Bea
Hi Beata,
Yes it is! In Storyline 360 Update 12, we released a fix to address the problem where nested or overlapping lightbox slides would not work correctly in HTML5.
Simply update Storyline to the latest version and republish your project to see the fix. Here's how updating Storyline 360 works.
Let me know if you have any questions about that!
