Problem with Users Exiting and Returning to Course
Mar 29, 2014
Hello!
I am having a problem with users returning to the screen they left off at after exiting the course.
The Storyline Articulate file is presently set to prompt users if they would like to return to the screen they left off at. Some users are clicking yes but are then returned several screens prior to the correct screen. This is not happening to ALL users. One user got through approximately 75% of the course successfully before this started happening.
We are utilizing the Docebo platform to deliver the course. I am at a loss of why this problem is occurring. I've wondered if it has to do with users deleting cookies or utilizing a certain internet browser for the course.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I welcome any advice you can provide!
Thank you, Elisabeth

Maybe the resume data size, are you using scorn 2004 4th edition?
Phil, per Docebo, I'm using SCORM 2004 3rd edition. They informed me this was the most compatible version with the LMS.
That should give you 64,000 characters to play with so it is likely something else. If it is every user I would test in Scormcloud and see if it happens there as well. If it is only some users then it is likely something to do with their machine such as the flash or browser version.
Thank you for the info, Phil. Are there specific flash and/or browser versions by which Articulate runs better?
Version 10 and above for flash although I would always recommend they are on 11 or above. for browsers the only issues I see are IE9 and 10 for completion
Hi Elisabeth,
As Phil mentioned, if you're able to replicate it within SCORM Cloud (which is an industry standard testing method for SCORM content) please let us know under what conditions (browser, flash version, etc.) and we can do some additional testing here as well. You're also welcome to share your Storyline file with us if the behavior is reproducible at SCORM Cloud, either here in the forums or by sending it along to our Support team.
