problems embedding videos
Aug 14, 2013
Hi there,
since a while, I have problems, embedding videos (i.e from youtube). After pasting the embedding code in the window and then clicking on "insert", it takes quite a while and then I get the message that the navigation to the website has been interrupted. Has anyone an idea, why it doesn't work any more? I haven't change anything on my computer, neither in storyline itself (as far as I know). Thanks a lot for your help!
Annika

Sorry to keep bothering you Michael... So when I publish the video to my desktop it doesn't show up. However, if I publish it on the C:\\ArticulateProject Folder then it does show up and play. Move it back to the desktop and it doesn't play again. Any ideas?

@Al: Depending on your Flash player security settings, web-based videos (and web objects) are blocked. It is best to upload your published content to some web sever (or an alternative like TempShare or GoogleDrive) or publish to CD and test locally.
Hi Al,
Are you testing the published output from your desktop? You'll want to test within the intended publish environment as described here. Testing it locally could cause you encounter security restrictions and elements of your content to fail.
