I'm trying to embed a youtube video into a SL2 project, which SHOULD be pretty straight forward. But I keep getting the attached error message. I've tried multiple videos and keep getting the same message. What the heck? Anybody have any advice?
Yes, it does seem to work with regular web objects such as web sites, just not videos from YouTube - and likely cause YouTube doesn't want to display it in the frame.

The embed option currently doesn`t work. Use a webobject instead. See here for info.
Hi Dan,
It looks like Michael has you covered with that link in terms of how YouTube changed their API code. Please let us know if you need anything else.
Hm. Bummer. Ok, thank you both!
Sooooo.. does the web object feature still work with YouTube in SL2? I've tried inserting as web object to no avail. I've attached a sample storyline file. Here's a link to the published version...https://s3.amazonaws.com/ezlearnin/USO/youtube+embed+test+-+Storyline+output/story.html
It won't even preview using the preview button under the web object options tab.
Maybe amazon AWS blocks YouTube videos. I republished your file and uploaded it to my server, see here. It works for me.
Yup - I see the same as Michael and the link he shared worked for me too.
Web objects can't be previewed from within Storyline, so do you mean the "Test link" button here?
Hmmm. Interesting. Wouldn't have thought that. Thanks for checking that out Michael!
I was talking about this preview button Ashley...
Does this button show other web objects, just not video?
