I've just downloaded the demo of storyline. When I try to download and use a free template from this site, I get the following error when I try to use it.
I have full permissions for this computer, so I'm not sure what could be causing this. Any thoughts?
I've downloaded templates from the site and they all have worked fine. I'm on a paid license though, so perhaps that functionality isn't available in the demo version. I'm sure one of the staff will reply shortly to confirm.
I'm working completely locally. I am the admin on the system so I should have all permissions required. I wonder what 'other process' are using the files...
Everything else seems to work, just the template import.
When I've tried to import PowerPoint, Quizmaker or Engage files I've gotten a similiar error if I have them open in another application. Not sure what else would be using a template but I thought I'd share my experience. Hope you find it useful.
Would you mind submitting a case, including the exact steps you take to get to this message, so that our support team can take a closer look into this? Thanks!
Sorry Sue, I'm not able to view the image you posted. Would you mind recording a screencast of what you see when trying to download the template? Thanks!

Good luck!
Hey Maxim!
Are you working from a network drive or a USB drive, by any chance? Sometimes unusual behavior is a result of not working from a local drive.
