Problems trialversion

So I have downloaded the trial version of Storyline.

I can do almost everything. Except insert a text box. Then the system just shuts down, doesn't react at all anymore and I have to close it with Task manager to be able to close it. The rest of my programs continu to work, it is just Articulate and only when I try to insert a text box.

I've had an earlier trial version and that worked like a dream.

Not sure what is wrong, but it sure is annoying. Does anyone have a solution?
