I have successfully imported Engage '09 files into a Storyline 2 project. When it comes to previewing a scene with an Engage interaction, the Articulate Storyline Error Report indicates "something went wrong with Articulate Storyline and it might close". I can preview the interaction alone through the Options tab but not when the interaction is part of a scene with other slides.
Engage interactions are imported into Storyline as web objects, meaning they'll play as standalone interactions that are simply embedded in your course. Also, this means that you may not be able to utilize them as a part of the preview - although it shouldn't be causing Storyline to crash. We've seen this with Engage 09 community interactions when imported into Storyline, so we've shared that with our QA team. In the meantime, you'll want to wait to add the Engage interaction until you're ready to publish, once you publish everything does work normally with the Engage interaction.
