I am currently building an exam that is predominantly essay response. What I would like to do is allow my users to work on their essay questions but go back and edit the ones they have already finished if they need to. Currently, if the user leaves the slide and comes back to it later, anything they type in the text field will simply overwrite what was already there instead of letting them make changes to it. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Is this the problem you are running into? If so, It'll be corrected in the next software update for Storyline.
In the meantime, your learners can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor to the desired location within the text before editing. Or, hold down the Shift key while you use the arrow keys to highlight (select) a portion of the text.
