Problems with text not displaying (with entrance animations)

I've been working on a pretty significant size storyline 1 project. I have noticed that I am having a lot of problems with the text displaying. When I add entrance animations in to a slide (Fade in, Medium) and the text won't display. This has happened several times on several sides. It seems that the animations won't accept the "all together" option. Examples are on slides 1.4 and 3.2
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Also another text problem is evertime I pull from the name field (%Name%) it bolds the paragraph that %Name% is in. An example of this is slide 1.2
I'm not sure if this is a fixable thing. I hope so. I'd hate to have to give up on this project.

Forgot the file. Here it is included.
Hi, Nathan -- Thank you for your file, and I will review it shortly and get back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, there are a few things we can try to rule out the causes of some common issues.
Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline.
I will be in touch. :)
Hi, Nathan - Thanks again for providing your files for testing. Unfortunately, I was unable to determine the root of the issues you are encountering, and I think it might a good idea to pass this to our Support Engineers for a closer look. If you would like to provide me with your email address, I would be happy to submit the case on your behalf, or your are welcome to send it to them directly using this form.
Thank you for following up with me. I'll take the next step and fill out the form. Were you able to see the problem on your end? Many times problems can be computer or local issues. It would be nice to know it's not just me.
Hi, Nathan - Yes, if I understood the issues as you had described them, I saw them, as well. I am hopeful that our esteemed engineers will be able to help you nail down what needs to be addressed. :)
HI - not sure if you ever got an answer to this but I had users that were experiencing this and it was because they had a slightly older version of Flash Player. v10.01 rather than the recommended 10.2 for SL2. Seems to cause a problem displaying the first image with Fade on page load. I removed the fade and works OK now
Hi, Al -- Your input is appreciated here, and I just wanted to share that 10.3 is actually now the recommended minimum Flash Player version for SL2 according to our System Requirements sheet (just wanted to update for anyone who may not be familiar). Thanks for your help!
