Progress in a random Question test
Oct 01, 2015
Good Morning all.
I have a question bank of 125 questions. I have a test of 25 (random) of those questions. I am wanting to show progress the student has made as they take the test. ie. you are on question 12 of 25.
Just curious of anyone has a good thought on how to do this. Also a progress bar would be acceptable as well.
p.s. Is there a good way to search this site for questions. I have not found the search on here if there is one.
Thanks everyone

You could use a variable that is increased everytime a question bank is `hit`. Here is an example of that (see the question counter in the upper right): http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl73_SL2/FunWithFlags/V2x/story.html You could also use a variable and a slider to provide a visual indication of progress.
To search the site, use articusearch.com
Michael thanks for the help let me see if I can get that to work. I will be asking more about variables very soon. I need to be able to use them for a custom LCMS (test scores, page numbers, things like that)
Glad that Michael was able to assist you here David :)
