Progress Meter

I LOVE the email tutorial that went out talking about how to add progress meters to your course. It was very simple to understand and I have already been successful in the implementation...
Now, I would like for my learner to also know which module they have completed when they return to the home page by changing the state of the icon. I have added a different variable and set up states but for some reason it is not working. Is there any more information on this topic?
Can you put more than one variable change on an object? I have also tried moving it off that object and relating it to the timeline.
I know this is hard to explain in writing but if anyone knows what I am babbling about, I would appreciate some assistance! Thanks

If you have an object being targeted by a couple of variables, it's possible that they are conflicting with one another (one variable says change to this state and another one says, no, change to this other state). Can you post a screen shot (including the trigger panel) so we can take a look?

I can't quite tell from the screenshots, but I'm guessing there's a conflict. Could you post the file so we could diagnose?
