Progress Percentage Calculation

Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I have been stumped with a problem, so I am hoping someone will be smarter than me and offer a solution. I want to display a % complete based on slides viewed. I will attach the project, but I am working at this time with scene 1 Analyze and I want the progress results to show on scene 9 User Inputs. I am using variables to count slides viewed and divide by the total number of slides. I know part of the issue resides with my trigger "when timeline starts", but I dont know how to resolve it so the percentage doesnt continue to calculate just because I view the slide.
I appreciate any help and please let me know if you need any clarification on what I am trying to accomplish.

Hi Terry,
Have you considered using some of the built-in variables as these will save you creating your own and doing all the calculations?
