What does the attached error mean? I have been working from a storyline file located on my hard drive but saving a copy to my network drive. I all the sudden got this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
You will want to work, edit, publish and save your files on your local hard drive. If you need to make a back up copy for a network drive, we recommend making a copy, then moving that to the network drive after it has been saved. Saving directly to a network drive can cause erratic behavior.
HI! I have been using the file from my hard drive. I save it to the hard drive, then save to the network drive. Do I need to copy the file from my hard drive to my network instead of saving directly to the network?

Hello Debbie,

Also, please make sure you are using the latest update of Storyline.

Debbie,
it would be better to copy the file into your network rather than saving directly there. This can cause unexpected behavior in Storyline.
Thank you.
