No, Storyline publishes in the SWF format. WMV is a movie format for Windows (Windows Media Video). Storyline doesn't publish out as movies rather a combination of javascript, xml, and the SWF format.
Thank you both so much! I forgot about Replay, will check it out. Yes what I want to publish as .wmv (or really any single video file) advances automatically. Here's why I need this - I can't seem to figure out how to have Storyline open a new Storyline window within an LMS-posted course. Lightbox slide is sort of ok but it's not resizeable and lacks the seek bar, and what I'm opening is a scene, not just one slide, so I can't fake it out and replicate the seekbar. So what I figured I'd need to do is publish to a single file that can be opened with a trigger. Was going to use Camtasia but glad to be reminded about Replay.
I am trying to follow the work-around mentioned by Jeff Kortenbosch. How can I get Replay to record the audio as well as the screen? Thanks for your help!
Thanks for reaching out here - you'd need to look at allowing your recording to capture the system audio, otherwise if it's playing through the speaker and the regular microphone is picking it up there may be some issues with the audio quality.

Hope that helps.
Kevin's right. There's a workaround though.
Hope that helps

Hi Cheryl,
If you haven't downloaded Replay yet, here's the link you'll want to use to get your free license.
