How will the course open on ipads or other non-flash devices when publishing for LMS using the option "html5/flash" or "flash/html5" if I DO NOT check the box “Use Articulate Mobile Player for iOS and Android” ? Will it just open in a web browser?
You've got it, Gulch Design! You'll see the HTML5 output on those mobile devices. The Articulate Mobile Player optimized performance on mobile devices for previous versions of Storyline, before we released our new responsive player with an all new HTML5 engine.
We actually recommend leaving this option unchecked unless you need to allow users to download the course for offline viewing. Since it's hosted in an LMS, offline viewing probably won't serve you very well anyway.
