Publish to Web for China
Jul 12, 2016
Hello, Gurus... I've been tasked with publishing my courseware to Web to be posted to a vanilla web server in mainland China and I've been told there can be zero references to external web sites or social media sites and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in this arena and can share their experiences or lend insight into some best practices. This is completely new to me.
For those who would recommend using an LMS in China to post SCORMs... I've been down this path with my company and apparently this is cost prohibitive. So this is not an option at this time.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts, feedback, suggestions, advice. :-)

Hi Thomas! Sounds like you really have to scrub that content clean. :)
I would recommend also reaching out in our Building Better Courses arena to get some more traffic and ideas!
Yes, many social media sites are blocked in Mainland China, like facebook, twitter, google....
They all have Chinese edition in china. For any videos you would like to link, you can try to upload them to the local video server in china so when learners click they can still watch.
Thanks for your replies, Crystal and Vivian. :-)
