Publish to Word
Mar 04, 2013
In your next update, is there any chance you can tidy up the Publish to Word output by ensuring each slide/layer begins on a new page? A few more clients have been asking for the Word output to assist with the review process, so anything that makes it more presentable would be great. And it would certainly save on having to do this manually each time.
Am interested in what anyone would like to see added ...
Will add a FR too.
Cheers

Great idea Simon!!
I would love to be able to just print the notes and not the slide. That would be great for sending it to the narrator and for our QA process. Some of the Word docs get so large with the slide pictures in them that it locks up people's email - and that is even after i compress the pictures to web - 96 dpi. Some of our courses are way to long.
I have added this as a feature request, also.

Hi Simon,
here's the link to request this feature

Tracy, graphics can be removed in Word using CTRL-H to replace all graphics with nothing.
Simon, it may be possible to put a page break before every slide using some sequence of CTRL-H.
You can use the "export for translation" feature, and it only publishes all of the text in the content. That may work better for you.
Just installed Word 2013 on my computer and tried to publish an AS module into a Word file.
That didn't work and the process had to be cancelled.
All AS updates have been installed.
Any idea?
Try rebooting. I had this problem occur months ago. After a reboot, I haven't seen it since.
If that doesn't work, try deleting all your files in the %Temp% folder.
