Hi, Amanda and welcome to the community! All of your formatting (bold/italics/etc) should hold when you Publish for Word. Please review this tutorial for more information and let us know if you experience any issues.
The italics in my quiz questions, correct feedback, and incorrect feedback are not holding when I publish for Word. I tested adding some "notes" and the formatting does transfer over from notes... just not from questions.
Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues. We did some testing in a sample file and were able to maintain the italics and bold used (please see the image below). Perhaps try importing your file into a new file and see if that helps? You are also welcome to share your .story file here and we will do some testing on our end.
The screen shot is showing the correct formatting, but the editable text on the document is not. I'd like to publish the word document so our proofers can make proofing changes via track changes and comments.
I attached an example of a published question. You can see that the last line of both the correct and incorrect feedback includes a word that is italicized. But when you look at the editable text, the italics are not there.
I really really really appreciate your help! Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for providing the screenshot. I am not sure where the issue might be occurring, so I have submitted a case to our Support Staff on your behalf. You should be contacted by someone shortly, and I will keep an eye on the case to follow along.

HI Christie,
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
