Hi! I published a course to Review360. There were some errors so I closed Storyline to update. It seems like I must not have saved because the opened file reverted to an older version.
Is all hope lost?
I have auto save turned on - where would I access those files?
Hi Alexis, if you are on a windows system, the recovery files are stored here: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Articulate\Storyline
They will have a filename including [Recovered].tmp. If you copy one of those files, and change the .tmp file extension to .story, you will be able to determine if it is a more recent copy.
The chances are that Storyline has already attempted to use the last autosave it made. How recent that is depends on how frequent your autosave is configured to.
I'm pretty sure you will not be able to recover the file from the review site as that is just the published output.
Oh, this is so sad. Thank you for your help. Unfortunately there are no files there. I have read now that its an autorecover rather than an autosave. That is six hours I won't be getting back, but I guess I can at least cut and paste the text.
Edit: I cannot cut and paste from Review 360. I am going to go cry now.

Oh, that is pretty sickening. I know the feeling.
This may help. I did a post a while back on copying text from old Flash courses where the user has the same issue.

In the post I use OneNote and ShareX (free). If you have SnagIt, you can do the same.
