Could someone clarify for me if the "Download for Offline viewing" option only applies to downloading a project for viewing on a mobile device, and the Articulate mobile player needs to be used for the offline viewing
It does not allow learners to download the content to a PC for example?

That is correct Patricia! If you wish for your users to utilize a course offline, we recommend utilizing publish for CD.
