In previous version, I did not have any problems linking the PDF. But now even though I can see it in the External FIles folder it is not opening. HELP!! I have a delivery date of today!!
Published as web view on a local machine. Client is reviewing files now. Should it be viewed online? She mentioned that when she views this way she is never able to see it. It is being published finally for an LMS. This is the third module and have two published in circulation.
I'm fairly certain some machines have restrictions on popping up a PDF from Storyline output when viewed locally. I seem to recall running into this issue this past summer when I was working on some projects. It typically ran fine when viewed from the web. I'd recommend testing it out via tempshare to see for sure.
Hi Gertrude, it is best to view online. Some of the browsers block the launch of the PDFs when running locally even if you have pop-up blockers turned off.
Hi Gertrude, try re-publishing to a CD-ROM and starting the course via the *.exe. See it that works, it wont' open in a browser, but it might get you out of trouble with your client.

Gertrude,
Check from multiple browsers to make sure it's not a pop up blocker issue.
We have done that and on multiple computers.
Different operating systems
Windows 7, XP, etc
Are you running it locally or is it published online?
