Publishing Storyline in Healthstream

May 18, 2015

Hello,

I've tried publishing two courses created in SL2  to Healthstream.  For each I've added two SCORM activities: the content and then the test.  They must be completed sequentially. After the content is completed (set to tracking using number of slides viewed), Healthstream still shows "In Progress" instead of the hoped for "Completed" that would allow access to the next SCORM activity.

This happens with 1.2.  With 2004, I get a bug right out of the gate and can't access even the first learning activity.

On my last slide, a button labeled "Exit Course" with the trigger to exit course when user clicks.  (I'm fairly new with SL, so please let me know if there is a better way to set this up.)

Thank you!

Hi Jill!

Have you tested your content in SCORM Cloud to see if you encounter the same issues? This typically helps us to determine if the issue lies with the course or within the LMS.

If you are able to reproduce, then we would want to take a look at your .story project file, but if you are unable to recreate, then you would need to look to your LMS for assistance. Someone in the community familiar with your LMS may be able to assist as well.

For this course, it is not showing as complete when I check it on the SCORM cloud. I've attached the story file and the debug info. Any insight or suggestions for next steps would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jill,

Replying via email doesn't include attachments in the forum thread - you need to visit this page to share the attachment files, but it does include your signature here - so you may want to look at editing the page to remove that information and then share the files.

Also, you mentioned two SCORM activities - are these within one .story file? I did want to share that we don't support multiSCOs, so if you've created that type of set up we'll have to defer to the community.  Similarly if you're linking between two courses and trying to transfer the completion status from one to the next, it's not something i can offer assistance with.
