Publlished Course Learner Instructions

Curious what others do for published course learner instructions. What do you use to explain the player features, how to go full screen, resources, navigating, etc. Thank you so much!

Hi Kelly! We put a button on the front/title page that says something like "click here to learn how to use this course" and when you click on it it goes to a slide which is basically a screenshot of what the user sees. Then there's arrows and pop up messages, etc., which explains what all the buttons do "Resources," "CC," "seek" etc. Once they're done looking at this they click next which proceeds to the lesson!

This is our most simple option, but I've also done a tutorial, recorded and edited on Camtasia, that I then embed into the storyline. Showing how to click through the course, clicking on the various buttons and on screen prompts, etc., and laying narration on top.

Wouldn't it be cool if Articulate added a quick tutorial? One where the module creator can select the player/module functions being utilized and then the instructions would include those elements in the directions? I have seen something a few times like I am describing. I think Salesforce has something like that. Anyways, just a thought.
