I'm currently creating a project that has a short quiz at the end. I've set the number of attempts to 3 but for some reason that hasn't worked and it's allowing unlimited attempts. I haven't changed the triggers on any of the layers either - it's set up in exactly the same way as the other projects I've built.
Never had this issue before. Can anyone tell me what's gone wrong?
that looks like the screen grab from a question slide - so each question has 3 attempts? or are you wanting the user to go through the quiz once, then have 2 more attempts at the whole quiz?
Be easier for someone to help you if you can share the .story file.
Thanks for sharing. I ended up getting in touch with the support team and they couldn’t figure out what was causing it either so it looks like something corrupted in the file. Thanks again though :)

Hi Wendy,
I can’t share the file on a public forum unfortunately due to confidentiality agreements with our customer.
It’s 3 attempts at each question - ie they have 3 chances at answering each question before moving on to the next.
The screen grab is to show I’ve set the attempts to 3 but it’s not working. I just posted on here in case it’s an issue other people have faced.
Hard to say - are you using graded question types or freeform? Using a quiz bank?
Here is a sample with a graded question and it works as expected. I'm using SL360 latest version.
They were graded.
