Question Weighting

Feb 06, 2014

Does anyone know how to create quiz questions that will provide a true/accurate score. For example, say I have a multiple answer question with 4 of the 5 items being correct. I should be able to weight each item so that if some are checked, the learner will at least get a partial score.

I'd like to be able to do this with Multiple Answer, Matching, Sequence etc... any that require more than one selection by the learner.

Also... why is it impossible for me to search topics on this site. Everything I type into the search comes back as a 'no can do'....

Thanks!

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

Our site search feature is inconsistent and it's something our team is looking into. In the meantime, you can use the method described by  Adrian here to search.

In regards to weighting a score, that is not a built in feature within Storyline, so you'll need to set up something custom. I haven't seen a lot of examples of this, although it's been a common forums question so you may want to submit a feature request if you'd like this to be available in future updates of Storyline.
