I used Storyline to convert a WMV file to a smaller file size. I then took the video file itself from the "story_content" folder and posted it on a server for employees to view. Storyline converts video to the mp4 format. I need confirmation that employees who do not have QuickTime installed can view the video in Windows Media Player. Thanks, community!
You won't need QuickTime but you might need a codec installed on the machine if you're running an older OS. Newer (Windows 7+ and possibly Vista) should have the decompression capability built in to run MP4's in WMP. If you don't mind a little bit of fatfinger code bending, a browser based player with Flash fallback might give you the best results:
