People keep mistaking the clicked marker for a loading symbol and waiting for something to occur, despite the fact I have added a pop up that tells them to click the submit button once they have made a selection.
But would prefer to not have to rebuild slides (have several graded hot spot slides) and still need a marker to indicate what has been clicked.
Would be better if I could change the look, making it bigger and/or a different colour may suffice. But I don't believ we can do that, unless I want to fiddle with the scripting.
I have added a button popup when they click any of the hotspots telling them to click submit - prob similar to what you have already done but have added it on a motion path so it might be a bit more visual

Hi Rachel
I have created a sample as a pick one quiz question using transparent shapes - not sure if your question would translate to using this style.
I like it simple solution.

Wendy, thanks for sharing this, but I'm not a storyline user (and can't see your example). Can I still do this with Quizmaker???
Hi Rachel!
You posted in the Storyline forums, and that's probably why Wendy provided the sample she did. I would have assumed the same.
The marker on a hotspot question isn't customizable, but feature requests are welcome. You can share your enhancement suggestions here.
