I have made a quiz with my own Next/Previous buttons. I have de-selected the next previous buttons under - Multiple slide navigation and gestures, on all my quiz slides. When testing my quiz, if I click next previous a few times, the default Next/Previous buttons seem to appear and when I click on them the quiz questions disappear. I am presuming it's some sort of bug. Has anyone else experienced this and found a way to get rid of the default Next/Previous buttons from appearing?
it's not a bug. SL assumes when you review a quiz that the user will need to progress from one slide to the next so it automatically adds in the Player nav buttons even if you don't have them selected in the slide properties.
One way around it is to set triggers on the slide master layout used by your quiz questions to:
Change state of Next button to hidden when timeline starts
Change state of Prev button to hidden when timeline starts
