Quiz questions do not display submit button on ipad
Sep 17, 2013
I am having a problem with two projects that I have published and viewing via tempshare on the ipad. The projects work perfectly on my laptop but on the ipad a number of the quiz questions which should have a submit button (and do on my laptop version) display with the Next and Prev button on the ipad. I also cannot click on the options on the ipad. Curiously if I refresh my browser, and rerun the project via the tempshare link sometimes the questions then appear as they should with the submit button, and they then work perfectly.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can provide.

Folks I have done a 'clear cookies and data' and that seems to help for a while, but I still need to keep refreshing the file in my browser. Still open to any suggestion.
Hi Debbie,
Are you viewing the content through the Articulate Mobile Player on the iPad, or HTML5 and Safari?
Are you able to share a link to the published content, or the .story project file, so we can take a look? If you'd prefer not posting it in the forums, you can always share it with our Support team here.
Ashley, thanks so much for your reply. I am viewing it through safari mainly (did try chrome too).
I have sent the information and files via the support team link you provided.
Thanks for the support.
Debbie
Debbie,
I had the same problem with Multiple Response questions in HTML5. I solved it by turning off answer shuffling.
Thanks Debbie, if you'd like to let me know the case number I'll follow along as well.
Sarunas, thanks for sharing your solution here too!
Thanks Sarunas, but I don't have shuffling on. I have been down so many paths today and still no further ahead unfortunately. Ashley the case number is #00356800. Thanks everyone.
Thanks Debbie, I see that Cleo is working with you and had you repair your Storyline software and then recreate that particular quiz and try to insert the older slides into the new file.
Hi Ashley, unfortunately still no luck. I tried what Cleo suggested and still the same problem.
I then created a completely new story file from scratch with multiple answer questions and some of them still didn't display the submit button (unless I refresh the file in the browser). As I don't have any more time to devote to it I have discussed the issue with my client who is happy for me to reword the questions so that they are single answers as these appear to work fine. So it remains a mystery. Thanks for your assistance though Ashley. The support is great.
Well I'm glad to hear you've got a fix that will work for your client, but if you could share this information with Cleo via the last email he sent (came from Support@articulate.com) he can continue to look into it and determine if it's something we need to let our QA team know about.
Hi Debbie,
I looked into your case again, and see that Cleo reported this to our QA team to look into. Thanks again for sharing your files with us!
