Question: How do I keep Storyline from reporting the Quiz grade to the LMS until the trainee receives a passing grade?
I developed a lesson and a quiz within the lesson using Storyline. I have it setup that as long as they are in the lesson, they can retake the quiz as many times and only the last score is sent to the LMS upon exit.
But, if a trainee fails the quiz, exits the lesson, and returns to the LMS, when he/she goes back into the lesson all of the modules must be revisited before he/she can retake the quiz.
I had it set to 'Prompt to Resume' and 'Passed/Failed' for reporting. I am going to see if changing it to 'Always Resume' and Passed/Incomplete will work. I think the 'Passed/Failed' setting might be causing the issue. Your response helped trigger the thought for me. Will update you on what worked.

The Resume setting in the Player determines what happens when someone exits a course and then relaunches it.
Based on your description that anyone who exits has to start again from the beginning, it sounds like your course is set to "Never resume."
If you change the setting to "Prompt to resume," learners will be given the option to start over or to resume from where they left off.
If you change to 'Always resume," relaunching will automatically resume where they left off.
