Quiz responses marked as incorrect in html 5 output

I am experimenting with making our quizzes available to mobile users. We do not use the Mobile Player, so I have tested the html 5 output on an iPad with Chrome and Safari, and with Chrome on my windows desktop.
I find that the responses are being marked as incorrect, even though they are clearly correct.
The only question types that seem to work ok are True/False, Multiple Choice, Word Bank, Hotspot. Anything else is always marked as incorrect.
NOTE: After more testing, it appears that if each question has a 'submit' button, they are graded properly. The issue arises when I have removed the 'submit' button, and add the 'previous' and 'next' buttons. (submitting all the responses at the end)

I just found this other post that looks like he's having the same issue: (three months old, no solution posted)

Hi Terry!
I had a thread related to this issue as well. This issue is in the hands of our QA Team and I do not have an update to provide. I will add this thread for them to take a look at and update this thread when applicable.
Thanks Leslie - I'm not sure that is the same issue, but it sounds like QA is also looking at the one I posted, which is definitely the same.
I look forward to a response, and have subscribed to all of these.
Take care,
Terry
Sounds great Terry :)
Hi all,
I wanted to provide an update here, as Storyline 2 Update 8 was just released, and included a number of fixes which you can see in the release notes available here. The item you all may be particularly interested in is how it how it fixed the issue where questions would be scored incorrectly when submitting answers all at once in HTML5 output. You can download the latest update here, and after downloading and installing the latest update you’ll want to republish any existing content to ensure that the updates and fixes are applied.
