I have a course with 10 questions; course chooses a random 7. Must achieve 80% to pass. There are two issues coming up on both our LMS and on SCORM Cloud.
Regardless of actual results, the results slide always shows 0%.
When the user clicks "Retry" it is supposed to reset the results. It does take them back to the correct spot but does not clear / reset the results.
I just took a look at this. One thing I see immediately is that you have not "connected" the question bank and the quiz - so the results slide shows correctly that 0% of the questions are answered.
Make sure you toggle the Quiz Settings options so that the quiz draws from the question bank. That should resolve the problem.
<voice_of_experience>However, you may also be using a Results slide that you copied/pasted from a different project. And if that's the case, the best approach is to create a completely new Results slide and just eliminate the existing one. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches.</voice_of_experience>
Thanks! I am trying to republish someone else's course after making one minor edit to the text on two slides, so I'm not sure how it was built. And it's been years since I used Storyline and did not previously use quizzes so...
I'll try to figure out where to find the quiz settings and how to create a results slide.
Hopefully those will together resolve the issue, though I can't understand why it worked last year and isn't working now. :-)
