I built a quiz in Storyline 2 where the user has 3 attempts to pass within 3 hours. When you try a new attempt the timer resets. I need it to keep going for each attempt.
Is there a way to stop the timer from resetting when a user starts a new attempt?
Are you using the stock timer? If so, are you open to writing a bit of code?
I usually implement a custom timer for this (using a JavaScript trigger). Helps me keep track as well as manipulate (start/pause/stop/resume/store) timer values as I see fit.

Yes, I'm using the stock timer. I'm open to anything, but I'm not too sure how good my code writing skills are. :-)
This article should be of help (hint:use setInterval): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/729921/settimeout-or-setinterval
as well as Articulate's Best JavaScript Practices link here: https://articulate.com/support/article/javascript-best-practices-and-examples
Hope this helps,

Thank you. I will see if I can figure it out.
