Random Undos
Jul 12, 2018
Hi community,
I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
Yesterday as I was editing a SL 360 file, a lot of my recent edits disappeared. I ended up saving and ending because it was the end of my workday.
Today, I completed my edits and saved. Published the file to Articulate Review. Then I went back in to make a few more edits that I discovered and all of a sudden, I saw Storyline reverting the file to where it was before I started editing this morning. Luckily I was able to close the project and reopen my saved version.
This is weird.
Thanks,
Henry

Hi there, Henry. That sounds like it could get really confusing. The first thing I'd check is where you're saving your project files. Do you use a shared or network drive? We always recommend saving locally to your C: drive and then backing up to a network drive if necessary.
If you're already following that best practice, could you work with our support team to uncover what's happening with this file? Thanks!
Hi Crystal,
Thanks for the reminder. That may be the culprit. If I encounter this again while working locally, I will raise the issue with the support team.
I normally work locally, but in the rush, I realized this was stored on the network drive.
