Was wondering if any of the assembled eLearning Heroes had ever built a project where content was RANDOMLY inserted into a Slide, and if so, what techniques they used to generate the visual Slide result(s)?
I have a requirement for an upcoming project, so am doing some pre-planning and early prototyping to see what might work best!
I am looking to take static content and randomly insert it at a fixed point within the project.
The most obvious idea I can come up with is to insert absolutely everything onto the slide using Layers, randomly generate a number, perhaps using JavaScript, and then pass this somehow to a variable that triggers the reveal of the appropriate Layer...;)
Hi, Mark -- I see that Walt has stopped in to assist and hopefully you'll get lots of great advice from others in the community, as well! I just thought I'd note that if you'd like to increase the audience for your query, you would be welcome to post over in our Building Better Courses forum, as well.

Are you talking about dynamic content creation? Or static content randomly created?
