RE: Animation

Jun 18, 2021

Good afternoon,

I am building an animation.  I have 3 Text Boxes on the base Layer.  When one of them is clicked, the focus shifts to another layer.  Once on the other layer, a custom animation (In an MP4) is moved from the current text box position to the upper corner of the layer and the content associated with the step is revealed.  When I run it the first time (for any of the text boxes), it runs fine.  When I run the same animation a 2nd time (Separate or same text box), the text box that I click on refuses to disappear from the screen and stays on the screen until the animation ends.  I have tried the following:

1) I have recreated the layer

2) I have verified that there are no hidden objects

3) I have reimported the entire course into another file

4) I have made sure that the hide other layers and hide base layer options are selected

5) I have ensured that the reset to initial state option is enabled upon revisiting.

This particular slide has no JavaScript and no dependency on variables for playback.

Hi Jean-Marc,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing.

I'd be happy to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening with your permission. You can share it publicly here or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
