And this would be of an individual slide - Id like to have a replay/refresh button on my interface that allows the user to play that slide again - not the WHOLE course again.
Create a button with a trigger that jumps to the current slide when clicked.
In the slide layer panel on the bottom right corner, click the little gear button, in the pop-up window, select "Reset to initial state" when revisiting.
Is there a way to make a global one that doesn't have to be on every page? I'd like to be able to add it to the master slide, as well as the custom play/pause but that doesn't seem to work either - it seems I have to add those buttons to every slide in a project:(
I am having an issue with this actually! When I hit refresh on a page it is not restarting the audio - bit of a bug. I'm just testing the product and if I play a slide, and hit the pause button and then hit refresh - it will set the play button back but the audio is not playing. I'm trying to figure out how to fix this!!!
Hi Susan! Did you set your slide properties to 'Reset to Initial State'? Would you be able to share your .story file here for us to have a look at or perhaps here if it needs to be private?
Hi Leslie, I DID reset to initial state, and it would start from the beginning, however the audio would NOT. So I had to add a trigger to my refresh on each slide, that says play audio when timeline starts - if there is another way to fix this - that would be great because now IT is causing another issue. If a user has PAUSED the timeline and then clicks on the menu or resources button on one of the pages, and then closes it, the audio will resume again - even though it was last on a pause state. I'm afraid I'm digging myself into a huge variable mess.
Hi Team...there's an error while launching it through LMS. An error is showing "not complaint with reload player". Can you please advise me how to rectify it?
I'm not familiar with that error. Are you seeing the same error if you test the content in SCORM Cloud? This helps to identify if the issue lies with the project or within the LMS.
Hello Marcio - If you wish for the slide to replay as this thread discusses, you would want to change the slide re-visit properties to 'Reset to Initial State'. If I have misunderstood or you can share a bit more details, I'm sure that would be helpful. This thread is a bit dated. If you need us to take a look at the .story file, feel free to share.

Hi Susan,
You absolutely can do that.

Let me know how it goes

There is a way to do that globally.
I attached the demo file here.
Basically, the method is create a button in master slide that changes a number variable by adding 1 to it every time you click the button.
And on each slide, you just need to create a slide trigger that jumps to current slides when the variable changes.
I'll take a look, that sounds exactly like what I need! Thank you!
Hi Susan! Looks like Cheng is assisting you here
Thanks Cheng!
yes - it's working perfectly thank you!
Awesome! Thanks for the update Susan

Hi!
It's possible when in Slide Property, I choose "resume saved state" under "when revisiting"?
I tried but didn't works.
