Refresh/reload button

Can I replay a timeline from the beginning with a custom refresh button? How would I go about doing that?

There is a way to do that globally.

I attached the demo file here.

Basically, the method is create a button in master slide that changes a number variable by adding 1 to it every time you click the button.

And on each slide, you just need to create a slide trigger that jumps to current slides when the variable changes.

I am having an issue with this actually! When I hit refresh on a page it is not restarting the audio - bit of a bug. I'm just testing the product and if I play a slide, and hit the pause button and then hit refresh - it will set the play button back but the audio is not playing. I'm trying to figure out how to fix this!!!

Hi Leslie, I DID reset to initial state, and it would start from the beginning, however the audio would NOT. So I had to add a trigger to my refresh on each slide, that says play audio when timeline starts - if there is another way to fix this - that would be great because now IT is causing another issue. If a user has PAUSED the timeline and then clicks on the menu or resources button on one of the pages, and then closes it, the audio will resume again - even though it was last on a pause state. I'm afraid I'm digging myself into a huge variable mess.

Hello Marcio - If you wish for the slide to replay as this thread discusses, you would want to change the slide re-visit properties to 'Reset to Initial State'. If I have misunderstood or you can share a bit more details, I'm sure that would be helpful. This thread is a bit dated. If you need us to take a look at the .story file, feel free to share.
