I am new to Storyline, and can't figure this out. I added a Quizzing slide, Sequence Drag-and-Drop, and cannot remove or modify the numbers in front of the answers. I can modify and adjust the answers, but not the numbering of the answers. Has anyone been able to remove or modify the numbering?
To the best of my knowledge, there is not a way to turn off the automatic numbering that appears with Sequence Drag-and-Drop quiz slides. You are also welcome to share your thoughts and suggestions with our Product Development Team using this form.
I found a temporary solution. I placed a shape in front of the numbers the same color as the background. This effectively concealed the numbers. You could also type new numbers over them to your liking.

The numbers are built in and unable to be removed as a part of the sequence drag and drop, but you're welcome to submit that as a feature request!
