Remove audio when returning to a slide

Nov 26, 2018

Hi I have set up to have one main slide with links to other slides. How do you remove the audio so it doesn't play when returning to the original slide to select another link? I want it to play the first time they click on the slide but not when they come back to it. Thanks

Good day Margaret,

Hope you are doing well. I may not be able give the exact way to do it but here is a similar thread. Our experts have shared their best practice working on this type of concerns. They even gave a detailed steps on doing it.

Hi Margaret,

In addition to what Hans shared with you, I wanted to point out two more tips that could be helpful!

  1. If your main slide has a "play media [audio] when the timeline starts" trigger on it, remove that trigger. The audio will still play automatically without the trigger.
  2. Set up the slide properties to "resume saved state".

I hope that helps!
