Is there a way to remove the Seekbar from selected slides within a presentation? I want users to be able to pause or repeat most slides but on a few, with multiple audio triggers, pausing and restarting audio causes two audio clips to play at once.
are layers still attached to the slide? Can i remove the seek bar on the slide and not the layers? if not, is this something that can be looked at as it seems to have been an issue for years?
Layers are still a part of a slide, and the seekbar is a setting that can be enabled or disabled at the slide level. It's not yet a feature of Storyline, but I'd love to understand more about your needs. Could you split layers into their own slides if you need a separate seekbar, or is there a reason they need to be set up as a layer?
I have probably created a thousand slides where this is something I wish I could've changed. For questions/knowledge checks, the feedback is a layer so for most of my courses that have audio for the question, but not for the feedback, it looks like a bug to the user when the seekbar is moving on the feedback layer, but there is no audio.
Sounds like you may have a good example and use-case that you could share with our team if you would like to see this handled differently. You can always share your ideas here.
Sounds good Vanessa. Thanks for popping in with an update.

Good morning!
I just split them off into separate slides.
Thanks!
