Reset Quiz Timer

Hi,

For a Rise module, I have created a quiz in storyline 360 where questions are being drawn from a question bank. The aim for the learners is to answer as many questions correctly in one minute. I activated the built-in quiz timer in storyline. After one minute the learner sees a result slide telling them how many correct answers they had. 

I also want to allow users to improve upon their score, so I added a 'try again' button to the quiz which 'restarts the course'. However, when the quiz restarts the countdown timer remains at 0:00 and does not reset to 1:00. 

Any ideas?

Your description is super and helped me understand what you're seeing. This behavior matches an open issue in Storyline:

  • The quiz timer doesn't reset when learners reset or restart a quiz

I'm sorry I don't have a workaround as of yet, but I'll keep you posted on any new developments. Here's a glimpse into how we approach bugs!
