Basically, what I want to do is this. On my cover page I have a gradient background and on my slide master I have a similar gradient bar at the top of the page. So when the user moves from the cover to the first page I want the gradient to kind of move up to it's new position but keeping the gradient intact. Move was the obvious choice but I can only get that to follow paths and the full screen to the bar doesn't work.
Hey Bruce. It's hard to visualize what you're trying to do (and I'm a visual person). Here's a quick version that may or may not be what you're looking for. It's not perfect but you might be able to adjust the timing of the fade or movement to make it more seamless.

Yeah, basically that. I have it about the same, as you can see though it's really hard to make it look smooth and nice.
How about a transition?
Here's what I ended up doing. Turns out the key was making the last stop on the gradient transparent instead of white.
