Yes I have it selected in player, it shows in the player but when I go to preview it is not visible but when you hover the mouse over the top right of the screen and select it you can see it. As per attachments.
We have changed the color scheme, see attached if I change it darker, the resources still doesn't show on the live slide until hovered over and selected.
Also, what color have you selected for Base > Link Text in Advanced Player Colors? You can read more about each of those color settings in this helpful job aid.
I have Storyline 3. For Base > Link Text i have it set as a dark grey, see Player. PNG below and when i go to preview slide it disappears, see Preview.PNG but when i click in top right corner it appears as normal, see Preview click.PNG.
I tried changing the base link text to red. It shows in the player but not in preview or published output. It's either a bug, or something else in your color scheme overrules it. That's as far as I can get, sorry :-(

in story-view on the right hand side check that the player features are set to default rather than custom player
Hi Phil,
Have it set like this but still no joy unfortunately.
It needs to be daufalt for every slide, if that doesn't work then I think you need a support call
Hi Alan
it's selected in the player tab yes?
If not and you only want it on selected slides then use the drop down slide by slide and select
Hi Phil, still no luck, could you give me details on the support call process?
Cheers

Has the colour scheme been changed? It could be the text colour is blending in with the player.

Hey Alan, happy to help!
First, what version of Storyline are you using?

Hope that makes sense as I am stumped!

Hi Alan
can you share the .story file or just a couple of slides - someone might be able to pick up on something that happening.
Hi Wendy,
Here is the story file with 2 slides in.
Thanks
Hi Alan,
If I change the player to modern it shows in both light and dark versions. It is definitely related to the color scheme.
Also if I reset the color scheme the problem goes away making a strong point for my early observation. Will look further :-)

Hi Alan
the base link text is set to 100% transparency - change that to 0% and it works as expected
Hi Wendy,
Thank you so much, that has worked absolutely fine. Just that little thing, annoyed I didn't spot that before.
Thank you very much,
Glad it was an easy fix - sometimes just need a fresh set of eyes. All the best with your project Alan.
