Hi, I have a list of several URLs in the Resources section of my Storyline course pointing to public web pages on the Internet. When the learner clicks on any of these links, instead of opening one browser window, they open two small browser windows... one window that is blank, and another window that displays the correct web page, but it is behind the blank one.
Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks!
If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
If you're testing your content within your LMS, this behavior may be something that you'll want to discuss with your LMS vendor, to see if they are aware of a setting that might correct the problem.
If the problem is reproducible by uploading your published output to a Web Server and testing from there, can you please send us a copy of your .story project file so that we can take a closer look?
I am experiencing the same issue when my course is uploaded to Skillport (LMS). I am waiting to hear back from Skillport to see if they know of a solution. In the meantime, have you been able to find a solution?
In Jeremy's case, he found that the problem was irreproducible when working from a web server, and he was going to reach out to his LMS Administrator to see if they could help him troubleshoot the problem.
I'm not sure what Jeremy found after that, but if the Skillport Support Team is unable to help you resolve this problem, we would invite you tosend us a copy of your .story project file so that we can take a closer look. Thanks!

Good Morning, Jeremy.
Where are you testing your course?
