Responsive mobile player not starting after rotating to landscape

We have a Storyline 360 file published in Modern player format and exported in a web zip file. 

We uploaded it to Wordpress. The program works well on desktops or laptops, but the mobile (iphone) displays the "Please rotate your device" but the display remains after the device is turned to landscape. It does not play.

The storyline settings include:


*modern player

*Optimized for standard delivery

*Landscape setting for both mobile and tablets

Please advise.

Thank you for reaching out! 

That is odd that the message to rotate your device does not disappear after doing so. A couple of questions for you on this:

  • Have you had a chance to test this behavior in a different LMS environment like SCORM Cloud?
  • Do you happen to know which iOS your learners are using?
