We would like to use the restart function in Storyline 360, but it seems to work only partially.
For instance, although we go back to the beginning of the module and questions are all reinitialized, the sections in the menu are still all checked and the progress bar is still at 100%.
We managed to have the progress bar at 0% by resetting the variable, but it goes back to 100% after that.
I saw similar questions but apart from updating Storyline (which we did) I could not find any other solution.

Menu Reset on Course Restart: If you have Restricted navigation set for your menu, you'll run into a bug we have reported where a course with a restricted menu does not restrict after restarting. Do you have this option selected?
Progress Bar stays at 100%: It may be helpful to view your file and help troubleshoot why your progress bar initially resets, but then goes back to 100%. If you're using the built-in Progress.Menu variable in your bar, then this discussion may help shed some light. Otherwise, share your file with our support team, and they can offer some help! It could be a simple trigger fix that could solve the issue!
We encountered the same problem as OP. On failing a course assessment twice, we have the failure slide button to restart course set. It takes the learner to the beginning of the course, but the menu remains unrestricted.

We encountered the same problem as OP. On failing a course assessment twice, we have the failure slide button to restart course set. It takes the learner to the beginning of the course, but the menu remains unrestricted.
