Results of a Test
Aug 22, 2016
Hi everyone,
I'm working with Storyline and I have to create a test. I already
made the questions, there are pick one slides, but I can't make the results work.
It has to show, at the end of the test, how many questions I get right, how many I get wrong and the percent of my test.
I already tried to use the Result Slide, but it didn't work the way I need.
Can you help me with it?
I have to make this presentation until Wednesday and this is worrying me.
Thanks!!

Hi Isabella!
Would you be able to share the .story file that you are working on and the details of what you are hoping to accomplish? I'm sure that someone will be able to assist you.
I put together a short demo file with the information it sounds like you are wanting. I used a variable to count the number of 'correct' responses that incremented on the Correct layer of the questions.
Hi Leslie,
thanks for your return.
What I have to do is basic show the percent and how many questions I get right and wrong,
like the project you sent to me.
But, in my project, when I put the %QuestionsRight%, it doesn't appear at the final slide.
Can you help me with it? I really appreciate it.
Hi Isabella
can you upload your story file - easier for someone to help you if they can work with your setup
Sure, Wendy.
What I need to have it's on the last slide, divided between Layer 1 and Layer 2.
I really appreciate all the help.
Hi Isabella
do you want the user to click the OK button or the Submit button to submit the interaction.
Using the player submit button will submit the interaction and move the user to the next question. OK is moving them to the next slide but not submitting the interaction.
Sorry if I am misunderstanding what you need to do.
Hi Wendy!
I want the user to click the Ok button to submit the interaction.
Am I doing this in the wrong way? I'm sorry if I not expression myself right, it's because this is a bit confusing for me.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Isabella!
If you want the Ok button to submit as well, then you need to update your trigger to submit the interaction from the submit button to your Hotspot 3 for instance that's on slide 2.3.
Hi Isabella
i see Leslie has you sorted with the correct trigger - you might want to consider hiding the player submit button so users aren't confused which button to use.
Good catch Wendy :) I was focused on button functionality.
I hope this helps.
Hi guys,
Thanks so much for all the help, it really helped me to finish the course :)
Glad to hear it Isabella! Thanks for popping in with an update.
