The list of built-in variables shows duplicates for the Quiz1 Pass and Score variables.

Based on that, I'm guessing that you either copied, duplicated, or imported the Results slide. None of those actions is every a good idea.

  • When you insert a new Results slide, Storyline automatically creates the variables needed for scoring.
  • Trying to re-use those variables by copying, duplicating, or importing a Results slide "confuses" the program.

In the attached file, I deleted the Quiz1 Results slide, and added a new Results slide. I labeled it as Final Quiz in the Quiz Settings, so that name is used in the new scoring variables. And Storyline has no trouble advancing to that slide after the last quiz question.

  • You can redesign it as needed.

By the way, here are the best practices for uploading a .story file:

  • Only include slides that are related to the problem.
  • Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
  • If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
